Kazak rug and history
The area of Kazak consist of the western mountains stretching from Erivan in the South to Tiflis in North side of old Russia. The pile of these rugs are short ,since the rugs are stone washed and cut short .They are geometric in pattern with red, blue, cream and green consisting of geometric motifs. Kazak rugs are not originally associated with any known tribe .The Armenians are among first group of people weaving oriental rugs .
