Isfahan rug and history:
The second-largest city of Iran with great historical markers, architectural design, and art located in the middle of the country. It has 1.2 million population. The quality of their rugs is apparent in each part even in the back or the fringes, the style of threads or wrap, and the knot density. The quality of wool, cork, or silk along with the asymmetrical knots and density of 650,000-850,000 per square meter makes it one of the most desirable rugs. They have a special class characterized by thin material and extremely high density as well as softness. The most famous one is the Shah Abbas pattern, Seirafian, Davari, Enteshar, and Haghighi.
