Bakhtiari rug and history :
Bakhtiari ethnic group is from Zagros mountains, west of Isfahan near the city of Kurds who live as nomads. Their dialect is Lori, near Khuzestan turns into Arabic. The rugs are made of wool, with a garden motif pattern divided into squares with plants or animals design in it. An influence of Isfahan design or pattern is apparent in some of these rugs.
