Nain rug and history
A town East of Isfahan with clay buildings and old mosques remains from the 10th century. Rugs are of very high quality and big demand due to workmanship, material, and high knot density. It is usually more than a million per square meter. The exclusive material consists of wool on a silk wrap or silk wrap on silk in the wrap. The silk can also be applied within weft and pile.
