Afghan rug and history
A country south of Asia, bordering Iran, Turkmenistan to the west, Pakistan and China to the East, Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan in the North. They have two most famous rugs called Khal Mohamadi and Afghan Aqche. The first is handmade by Turkamons in North of Afghanistan or rare cases by Pakistan Turkamons with primarily dark red colors in different nuances .repeating motifs like elephants appear in patterns. The second one is made by Turkamons in central and north of Afghanistan.
